Saint Joseph College will host Mount Ida Saturday at 1 p.m. in a key GNAC basketball game that culminates the day's activities as part of the 26th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

The "Play 4Kay" game is in support of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Yow was a former coach at North Carolina State who worked to raise awareness of breast cancer.

Satuday, Saint Joseph is hosting 125 girls ages 8-14 in a full day of activities taught by the athletic department’s coaches and student-athletes.

On Sunday, February 12th, Saint Joseph will host the 6th Annual Women’s Only Indoor Triathlon. Over 120 women ranging in age from 14-81 are expected to participate in the event. The race consists of a 20-minute swim, a 20-minute bike ride and a 20-minute run. SJC’s very own President Reid, Provost Michelle Kalis and Dean of Students Cheryl Barnard lead the participants.
